A computer is a group of devices consisting of millions of interrelated components to help humans perform tasks that require neatness and thoroughness. A set of desktop computers consists of several parts. Here are some kinds of computer devices and their functions along with pictures. 1.CPU
CPU (Central Processing Unit) is the most important part of the computer because it is the center of the computer. All other devices like keyboard, mouse, monitor, etc. are installed on the computer. In the CPU there is also an embedded motherboard processor which is the brain of the computer. Hard disks are also installed on the CPU.
2. Monitor
Monitor is a device that serves to see what we are doing on the computer. Without a monitor, we seem to be "blind" while using the computer. Therefore, the monitor is one of the most important device in the computer. There are three types of monitors: CRT, LCD, and LED monitors.
3. Keyboard
The keyboard is a computer device that contains various number keys, letters, and several other functions. The keyboard is very useful when we want to type on the computer. The keyboard also serves as a shortcut of a certain function so that working on the computer becomes easier.
4. Mouse
Mouse is a device that looks like a mouse and there is a sensor or a ball underneath. The function of the mouse is to move the cursor that is often marked with the direction of the arrow. Speakers are computer devices that can output sound output. Actually the speakers are not too important to install. 6. Joystick (Optional)
